JCB Telehandler Attachments - Q-fit Mount and Common Choices

JCB telehandlers predominantly use the Q-fit mounting system. See which attachments Jaegel offers and what to check when choosing the mount.

JCB telehandler attachments

In short: JCB telehandlers predominantly use their own Q-fit mounting system. This differs from many Euro-type mounts, and the choice of attachment must be based on it. On some JCB models, or depending on the market the machine previously belonged to, the mount may also be different, so it's always worth checking the machine's specific mount before ordering.

What makes the Q-fit system special?

Q-fit is JCB's own mounting solution, designed for quick and convenient attachment changes. Since it's a manufacturer-specific system, attachments built to other manufacturers' standards, such as the widely used Euro mount, won't fit it automatically.

Which attachments suit a JCB telehandler?

  • Pallet forks: telehandler pallet forks can be found here, assembled to match your machine's mount.
  • Universal buckets: for general loading and moving material, read more in our universal bucket article.
  • Levelling buckets and extensions: for transporting bulk and grain material in larger volumes, see our levelling bucket article.

What to pay attention to when choosing the mount?

  • Check the Q-fit mount physically: don't assume based on the model name alone, some older or converted machines may have a different mount.
  • Origin of the attachment: a Euro-mount attachment doesn't fit directly onto a Q-fit coupler, a separate solution is needed for that.
  • Hydraulic connections: attachments that need hydraulics require the machine to have the correct number and type of hydraulic connections.

What if you have a Euro-mount attachment?

If you want to use an attachment originally intended for a machine with a different mount, see our adapter article, where we explain when this is a sensible solution and what to consider, such as the added weight and distance.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming the mount based on the model name: being precise pays off before ordering, not on delivery.
  • Not checking hydraulics: the attachment fits physically but doesn't work if hydraulics aren't available.
