Function and safety features

The Bobcat 453 fork frame has integrated mounting lugs that give the operator good visibility during work – particularly important in tight or sensitive locations. To keep the tines from coming loose during use, there is a stop screw at the centre underneath the lower beam of the 900 mm frame. The frame also has welded side plates that prevent the tines from sliding sideways during travel or uneven loading. The tines are hung from the centre of the beam, making them easy to fit and remove. For manual adjustment, lift the locking loop, slide the tine to the desired position and lock it – without tools. The fork frame is manufactured to the European FEM standard, which makes later replacement or addition of tines easier.
