What is a Big BM mount and who is it for

The Big BM mount comes from Volvo wheel loaders (formerly the BM brand) and is found on many older and newer Volvo machines. The mount differs from the standard Euro mount in its dimensions and the placement of the mounting hooks, which means a Euro attachment doesn't fit directly on a Big BM machine, and vice versa.

If you're not sure whether your machine has a Big BM or Euro mount, check the shape of the mounting plate and the position of the hooks, or measure them and ask us to confirm before ordering.

What to consider when choosing an attachment

• Exact mount match: the product name must specify Big BM, otherwise you can't be sure it fits.
• Machine weight and lift capacity: the attachment needs to match the machine's lift capacity, especially with pallet forks and heavier buckets.
• Hydraulics: tilting and hydraulically controlled attachments need an extra outlet on the machine.
• Task at hand: the same machine is often used for loading, grading and moving pallets, so it's worth considering more than one attachment.
